You know you've been playing with yarn too long when...

you take your dogs for their morning walk as usual, say "hello" to the neighbors, and come home only to find little locks of fiber in your locks. I had little, and very obvious, fuzz balls of wool embedded in my hair. My neighbors must REALLY think I'm a freak now. And just yesterday, instead of swallowing dog hair with my daily meals, I swallowed sheep hair. And not by choice. I believe in a high fiber diet, both yarn wise and in my diet, but if this keeps up I'm going to wind up like a cat with a big fiber hair ball.

This week has been a bit stressful with my ol' dad 2000 miles away getting a hip replacement, so I've been a bit preoccupied.  I'm trying to catch up on dyeing today and tomorrow and plan to update my store on Monday at 3pm MST.  I have some silk roving in the pots right now and am excited to see how they turn out!

Finally took the "art yarn" off the bobbin

I really wanted to do more work on this, but I needed the bobbin so I decided it was "finished". I have a WooLee Winder with only three bobbins, so when it's plying time for another project all others must be set free.




I really need to get back in dyeing mode.  I've been so distracted by other things this week that my update on Sunday is going to be pretty limited.  =o(  I did put in an order for more merino and superwash merino roving though, so that's a tiny bit of progress.

Anyway.....

Phew, it's been a long day updating, but I got the bulk of it up. Hand-painted roving in Merino, BFL, and domestic. Tomorrow at noon I will update the Merino Superwash sock yarn...around noon Mountain Time.
