Batts and an alpaca

For those who haven't seen what I've been up to on Flickr (and give a crap), this is what I've been doing the past couple of days. Blending up fluffy batts made from merino, baby alpaca locks, and tussah silk, bamboo, targhee locks, and/or angora.



And putting together my new wheel, the Majacraft Suzie Alpaca. It arrived in only 6 days from New Zealand!!!! I am so happy. =o) She spins beautifully, but there is a little bit of a learning curve after spinning on the easy-as-pie Lendrum for the past year.
